Horror grinding/clunking sounds
Honestly guys, I don't know if my problem was in the drivetrain or suspension, so I put this thread in the technical area. This is the second time this has happened in 2 weeks.
Ok, when I would be at a complete stop, I just start to accelerate when I would hear a grinding and clunking sound from the front end in intervals of 1-2 seconds apart for about 10seconds total then it will quit(all under 40kph). It is to the point where I stop my truck to investigate cause it sounds like a friggin socket wrench has been tossed in the front end, and really, I can't find anything out of the normal, under a quick road inspection. This has only happened twice. No noise when I turn, just straight on ahead this goes on.
Searching around, I couldn't find a straight answer. Hubs, t-case, caliper bolt, tie rods, cv or u-joints, seals, bearings, ----in hell I don't know. I am obviously gonna take it to my buds place when I get a hot minute, but I would like to check with R-F first and see if anyone has had this problem and could place me in the right direction........cheers all!

Well, I am having a vech tech that I know personally to take a look, diagnostic and fix what ever the hell is wrong with my truck, not till this coming friday though, boo. Which means my truck is grounded the whole friggin week. *Sigh* I'm glad I went food shopping before all this **** went on.
I have searched high and low, through hundreds of threads from multiple sites with no luck on what this problem could be, and when I find out what it is this friday *fingers crossed* I will post the results in ----ing all caps for the world to see.
