Wiring up fog lights to factory fog light switch.

Wiring up fog lights to factory fog light switch.
My 04 Ranger was one of the unlucky few that didn't come with factory fogs so I'm wiring it up with a relay into the factory distribution block. I have the battery hooked up to relay pin 3, and the big ground hooked up to the pin 5. Now I'm hooking up the switch side to a factory fog light plug. Do I want to run a keyed power supply straight to pin 1, then run a ground to the switch then out and to ground? Everyone keeps saying the switch needs to be on the ground side so I'm wanting to get this cleared up. Thanks

So if I understand it correctly the
Light blue/black ties into the ground on out put side of the relay?
Black = ground
Brown = tie into something that gets juice when the lights are on, radio/headlights
Tan/orange, Do i tie this into the the power wire for the input side of the relay?
