what is the best way to run wireing and mounting for putting my battery in the bed of the truck, because i want to loose some weight in the front end and i want to loose some front end weight.....also where can i go to find a way to mount my radiator in the bed as well?....thanks

 

There are battery relocation kits available. I put a second battery in my toolbox and theres a post on here if you search "battery box". A similar method can be used to put your main battery back there.

However, use much bigger cable -- 1 gauge or better. My battery is an auxilliary or "helper" battery so I got away with 4 gauge. That wouldn't work for a relocation, though.

I have no idea about the radiator, but I think you'll need longer hoses...

Running a radiator from the back of the vehicle sounds nutz to me. I think you would add wieght by the time you filled all your long hoses with coolant to reach the rear of the truck. Probably have high running temp issues also.

 

to add a radiator to the rear will change the weight distribution of the truck.....whenever you add a radiator to the bed of a truck you will need to add a couple of LARGE electric fans because there will be no air flow to keep the coolant cool. i would put the largest puller fan on the back of the radiator and a medium size pusher on the other side.

 

yea i dont know yet but im deffinetly doing the batterys in the bed ...im still planning everything
