I need the electical guys help again!!!!

well i got my fog lights mounted and everything, but i can only turn them on when the headlights are on. I cant even turn them on with just the side markers on. I know im my probe i ran a constant 12v to a wire and i could turn them on no matter what as long as my key was on. I want to be able to run my fogs with just the key on and hitting the switch. i know i had to cut a wire on the probe i just dont know what one to cut and run the 12v too. i cant find the wiring diagram in my haynes manual so any help would be great.

Thanks

Cam

Well, don't do the wire on the diagram going from the 'ignition'. Instead splice that wire onto the parking light wire.

its not an ingition thing i dont want to rewire the whole thing. i think im going to just have to cut and resplice wires till i get it right. i shouldnt have to anything other than cut one wire then run 12v to it so its constant

Check your underhood fuse box. I have my fogs hooked up there, without a relay (I don't have a fog light switch). There is a slot that gets power when the parking lights are lit. I can't remember off the top of my head, but a relay for the fog switch is supposed to be there. Play around with a volt meter. I wouldn't splice into the parking lights because that would be too much load on that single wire IMO.
