Ground strap

I'm looking to ground my CB antenna, and the toolbox its mounted to. I've read people mention ground straps. Is this just a term for a grounding wire, or can I get the type of ground straps that are used to ground parts on the truck. If i can't get them, what type of wire should I use to ground my antenna. Right now i have a 14g wire running from the antenna to the frame, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Its a basic term for grounding it. Personally I'd hit up a junkyard and grab some ground straps off cars and run those. Both surfaces should have a clean shot to metal.

You can never have too much ground connection...Just keep it in mind.
