fuel filter

Ive had my ranger a few years and it is in need of a tune up but dont have the money to take it to a shop. ive been doing some things like getting a new air filter, sea foamed it today, going to change the plugs, and i was going to change the fuel filter but i dont know where it is. ive got a 1998 3.0l 5sp 4x4 if that matters at all. thanks

Holy searchable thread batman!!

It's only posted up in here like a million times!!

O.k, I'll be nice.

Get on your back and look under your driver door and you'll see the filter attached to the inner side of the frame rail. You can't miss it, it's either black or silver and has 3 hoses running from it.

As for the replacement procedures. Click SEARCH. There's actually a few active threads about this right now.

Good Luck

***EDIT**

Found a pic of mine off photobucket....
