Adjusting Mirror Defroster Vent

with my two gauge pod, the vent on top of the dash is blocked from going to my driver side window and also makes the gauge pod extremely warm. is it possible to turn it 180 so that it faces my windshield so it is actually useful? i was going to try and pop it out but didnt want to risk breaking it if there is a hidden set screw somewhere.

Interestingly there is a government standard for how quickly the side windows are to be cleared. (for mirror viewing) That air duct (both sides of dash) are connected to the defrost duct. And by design they all flow a slight amount of air at all times.

If you don't mind it.. just take a black colored rag and stuff it down in the tube. If you want to divert it another direction you'll have to rig up something to your liking.

I'm not sure how the bezel attaches. Should just be a snap in I'd think.
