Wire Color For Dimming

I am wiring up a digital voltometer in my truck and I need to know what color wire would be a good dimmer source. I prefer something off of the 4wd switch or foglight switch on the radio bezel.

Instrumentation lighting controlled be the dimming module is on the light blue/red wire. You can find it at a number of locations like the dimming module, audio HU, A/C control panel, fog light switch and 4x4 switch.
