Bulldgo 500 Series Starter

Does anybody have/installed this on their Rangers. I know a guy at work who loves his on his Chevy, just wanted to know how much of a pain/benefit it would be for me and my 2003 XLT.

If you see a bulldog remote start or alarm, START RUNNING REALLY FAST in the opposite direction.

I have heard many negative things about them. A couple of months ago, one of our part time installers (only works for us on saturdays,he works for another installer shop during the week). Installed 3 of them for the same person, just on 3 diff cars. 1 stopped working after a month, 1 smoke the cars ignition harness, and the other one actually caught fire and wrecked the car.

I have heard alot of really bad things about them. Especially about melting the wiring harness in your car.

BUT, like I tell everyone that asks about them.
It's your car/truck, install whatever you would like. "I" would stay away from them.
