Wiring diagrams sticky?

I've seen lots of other forums/sites that post wiring diagrams in their tech section or just make it a sticky. Can we do this? I'm sure there's some type of copyright or something with the diagrams in the back of the Chilton's, etc. manuals but I've seen them posted on plenty of other sites. Can we make a sticky and post the diagrams from all the year's manuals? I think that would be incredibly useful to a lot of people.

If someone has them in some kind of format that can put on the internet, I'll sticky them. But nobody has posted anything to stick in the first place.

I don't think its something that can be just put into a sticky. I have a wiring diagram for my 04 and its a pretty thick book. All the pages could be scanned in but that would require someone with a good bit of free time.

Mine are on DVD, but still, 100's of MB's worth, and its not copyable (sp?). I would have to take 100's of screenshots and put it back together, ain't worth the effort.

I tried copying, even for my own purposes (legal). The functions are completely disabled. Only thing that works is screen shots. And these schematics are made for a plotter, so thats alot of screen shots.

I would prefer to have a paper copy while I am working instead of having to wash my hands before I use my laptop to check a different section, or learning to use a touchpad with my elbow.

Although it makes me feel high-tech to learn drum brakes with my laptop sitting on my tire beside me.

Isn't it like a PDF file? Or is it like a program? That kind of sucks you can't just print them off.
