I think that's just the interface kit. Looks like the actual remote start kit is $207.95, and requires the Securilok kit #4 (7L2Z-19G365-AA).

the point in the remote is all dealers..Ford, GM, Toyota...ETC have standards to go by for remote starters..i work for Toyota for many years now and have been explained this to me by head Toyota officials..now after market remote starters dont fall into these guidelines WHY?!?! i dont know but they dont and have NO limits to what they can do..the newest system here ive seen is a "text to start"..meaning you can start your car from anywhere you have cell reception...
sorry to rain on your parade bud but there not useless..you my friend should come live up here with me for one winter..-45C yes celcius..your truck is an ice cube plugged in or not, lazyness my ***...you walk outside everyday to start your car in this weather when alls you can do is hit a button...hmmm makes sense to me, PLUS you can set the remote starter to fire up in the middle of the night and let your truck run for 20min to let everything stay some what warm...tisk tisk.. ill let you believe what you want...
look into a Viper system..or a Compustart system..youll be pleased with them..and wont smash your remote!
Well when you are walking to your car at a grocery store you could stand 10 feet away and start it and look all cool. Thats all the more I see in them they are a waste of money for laziness.

The remote start in the first post is made by Autopage I beleive. The distance is 300 ft unobstructed. Same unit is in Chryslers not sure about GM's. They also make a DNA modual that is two way and 1300ft distance...easy to wire because the factory wire just plug in. Most likely 4 to 6 wires tops to install...
