What else would I need besides just the gauge itself?

I guess my only question would be why? There are better things to monitor in an OBD-II vehicle than that. It's already checked by your PCM and it'll let you know if it's off.
Seems to me oil pressure, temperature or something would be more critical. I monitor oil pressure and transmission temperature.
Don't get me wrong, not trying to be wierdly critical here -- it's just that unless you have a carbeurator or a wierdly tunable injection system, fuel air ratio is carefully controlled and monitored and you can't even affect it much.

I see you have an automatic transmission. If you're a using your truck as a general daily driver, you don't need this so much. But if you are into towing, drive in very hilly/mountainous areas, race or offroad you might consider transmission temperature. It's very easy to install the sensor since theres a port for testing in our transmission that just has a plug in it, and you can put the sensor in it after pulling the plug out.
Our automatics are relatively "fragile" by reputation, and knowing when to quit beating on them can mean the difference between long term reliability, or constant repair or replacement.

The other is that the sensor needs "1/8 inch NPT threads". This is for 1/8" internal diameter piping, with a tapered pipe thread. Most of the sensors will be NPT but I suppose it's possible to get one with the bigger threads.
Those are the only foreseeable problems.
