i know theres gotta be a few guys on here running bigger alts
what company did you get it from and how much was it?
orrr even are you looking to get rid of it

ive got quotes from the bigger companies like EA, mean green, and powermaster, but dont think i wanna pay upwards of 400

i bought a explorer alternator and its 130 amps and is plenty for what im running

if you don't want to pay $300 for a high output alternator, then start removing electrical add ons from your truck so your stock alternator can handle it.

Expect to pay about $1.25 for each amp for a high out put alternator.

I am running a PowerMaster.

I got a 170 amp from Bob Junses and everything has been peach keen. Still gotta run the bigger wires to get the full potential...I'll get to it sometime. I don't think I paid nearly 300 bucks for it. I wanna say around 250, don't really remember though, with shipping btw.
