Inter Fender Plastic 2002 XLT WANTED MI
I am looking for the fender plastic. As you can see, mine is missing. I haven't found one yet, so I hope someone is parting a truck out and could help me out.
Let me know! My zip code is 48154.
Thanks a lot!

You can make some out of stair runner material. I was missing a stock piece, so i took the other, traced it and cut. Used self tapping screws to hold in place.
Sorry i know this isnt a how-to thread. Just thought i might be able to help.

just an FYI if you can't find one, don't go to ford and order it. You'll receive a tiny one and say its not the correct thing but the part numbers are exactly the same from the older models to the newer models. Trust me, i've been in the same boat lol. I'll take a look at a jy tomorrow for you

If it is the driver side, it does not exist. I bought that tiny piece that Michael is talking about, waste of $20. I then went to a JY and looked, every single ranger they had there, had the passenger side but no driver side. I took one out of a compatible explorer, did not fit my ranger. Finally went to a dealer, explained what I needed, the guy looked up the exploded view on the computer and it shows that the driver side has no plastic curtain.
More research showed me that ford was having a heat problem, therefore removed the plastic curtain from the driver side to allow better airflow. I have heard that you can buy a replacement for the passenger side, and reverse it to be used on the driver side as a perfect fit but I have not tried it.

I have one on both sides, they are rubber though and not technically the inner fender, which is plastic. they are just a thick rubber debris/water sheild for the engine bay. But like someone said I would just make a nice set of custome ones.
if you want I'll make sure I have it out in the garage and send them both to you
