Well guys, my Ranger has the infamous front grille 06+ emblem "peeling" on it :( I need a replacement. Does anyone have one or know where to get one other than stealership?

i dk, everytime i check on something from there, they charge you an arm and a leg and a kidney! Figured somone up here might have an extra one

 

I gotcha, I got a sport trac emblem for $9

When I checked they weren't too bad

 

like i said, they call it a stealership for a reason. That emblem is $48 at the Ford Dealership that I bought my truck at. what a ripoff! I dont know if my dealership way overprices things, but they are expensive! I check one time on the price of the polished Alcoas, and they wanted $2600 for a set of 4 not including centercaps

That emblem is expensive. I got one new from Tasca for like 30 bucks.

Oh well dang, I always heard of the fender emblems peeling, especially on the F150's Super Duty's

 

my bro just got a 06 f150 and all the emblems on the truck except the ford oval on the tailgate need to be replaced.

 

theres one on an 07 at the jy near my house

 

Is your truck still under warranty Scott? Our 06 F-150 had the peeling like you're describing and they replaced it free of charge under warranty.

 

I had to have the big oval Ford emblem on my tailgate replaced for the same reason. Mine was replaced free of charge under the warranty.

 

Unfortunatly not, I'm at 58,700 miles. I have extended warranty, but I don't think ot covers this

 

I've gone thru two of them now... my original one and now my replacement that I got off one of our work trucks when it was removed from the tailgate for decals. I think this time I'm just going to look for a black billet grille of some sort for a change!
I found a couple billet aluminum Ford emblems I was going to use here at TSC here, but they were just a little too small. I don't think it would have looked right!

 

It may be worth a try to find out.

 

the moron at my dealership tried to sell me a emblem for an stx grille, and then told me it could'nt be replaced in a non stx grille, I still have'nt gone back to complain yet.
