BMW seats in my Ranger?

I've been wanting to get rid of my cloth 60/40 bench seat for some leather buckets. Been thinking about racing seats, but they might be a little uncomfortable on long drives, and explorer seats are too big and couch looking for my little reg cab. The shop i work at is a bmw collision repair shop and we have a 04 (i think) 330 we wrote off sitting out back that we bought off the insurance company to use for parts. I was looking at it today thinking that the black leather seats could look good in the ranger? When i get a chance i am going to see if i can make it fit! Does anybody have more experience with seat tracks and know if this is gonna work before i waste my time trying?
thanks!

Other than the electrical issue, there will be the task of somehow fitting the Ranger seat tracks to the BMW seats, or fabricating new mounts and holes for the BMW tracks to fit the Ranger cab.

I love my seats. Never get uncomfortable in them even after driving all day long.

Best seats I've ever sat in were the buckets from my '87 Celica GTS.

I've chosen to put extra money for the Ranger leather bucket seats, and I'll never regret it. Did 9-10 hours drive and never had back pain. Most comfortable seats: S2000... awwww... can't be overweight though to fit in

that'd be a cool seat swap. i want different seats as well. but i dont want the usual explorer seats. unless they're the seats out of a newer explorer or aviator or something

/end hijack

couldnt you just take the whole track and everything from the bmw and just bolt them to the ranger floor? might have to fab up a mount to make it sit as high as the ranger seat but that wouldnt be too hard.

Saftey wise its not a good idea. You can get in deep s*** if you get in a wreck with a passenger with you.

some paint....a little bondo and you'll be good as new! I say go for it and just put a sign in the vehicle that passengers ride at their own risk!

actually right now I'm installing 86 mustang GT bucket seats into my 02 ranger, and it's not as simple as I originally hoped, I have separated the track from itself and then I'm going to bolt the seat to that so they will not move, permanent location I have thought about it for awhile and decided since it's my truck & I'm the only one who drives it, I will set it to my height and comfort level and call it a day.

Those saturn seats look like they were made for a ranger! I took a better look at those beamer seats and they are power everything, even with the memory settings. I don't want to get into that mess. I have window cranks, power seats would be ridiculous. But it does have me on a mission to find some nice leather buckets. Some manual e36 m3 seats would be killer!
