Expo seats in a 94 single cab???

Hey guys

I'm helping a buddy fix up a 94 single cab service pick up. One of the things we were thinking is explorer seats would be cool. Will the more or less drop in(ish)? Obviously not all the mounting wholes will not be there so please keep the der tee der obvious stuff to the minimum.

yep. direct bolt in using your 94 seat tracks. don't bother getting power ex seats, you would end up ditching it anyways with the ranger tracks.

The Explorer Seats MAYBE a little too big for the ’94 Cab…
Double check the fit before starting the project.

Something to thing about… if you happen to find two Rangers with 60/40 Seats, the Passenger side seats are the same as standard buckets.
Also, the tracks that bolt under the seats (my 03 anyway) have all of the controls, depending on which side they will be mounted on not the seats so the passenger seat can be used for a drivers side bucket. Two passenger seats from 60/40 equals two bucket seat set.

I just posted in 94 2.3 theard about doing this.
it'll fit, i've seen it done. you have to cut the seat belt bracket and switch the tracks over. I THINK. unless your going from bench to bucket. than it should sort of line up, unless you want to keep the power seats. then your switching tracks.

this will only work on 98+ seats. IT WILL NOT WORK FOR 97 AND OLDER. 97 and older backs mount with two bolts on the outside, and one on the inside. if you wanted to use a passenger bottom on the driver side, you would have to cut and weld the inside mounting point.

94 2.3, find some buckets/60/40 from the same style/year ranger cab you have. the outside two will bolt in, then you'll have to drill the inside two for each seat.
