I put all of my stuff in the back. I do like the cupholder idea, though. I wish I had seen that before I mounted my safety equipment.

Wow where have I been, I just found this thread yesterday, and today I went to get the clips. Guess I will out trying to find a good spot, in the Ranger and the Grand Marquis. For as much driving as I do at night, this is a great idea. Oh and by the way, when looking for the Monting clips I had to get some .308 brass and primers anyway, so I went to my local Sportsmans Warehouse, they had clips for all the different size flash lights. Other wise I would think any other sportsmans type store would have them too.

I removed the oh **** handle on the drivers side A pillar and used the same bolts on the mounts. Only drawback is I have to take off the light to pull the visor down but I never use it anyways so it doesn't bother me.

Mine's an 07 and it sure did. I used them in the mounts and stuck some double sided tape on the back to hold the side without the screw in it.

To the ppl who mounted their maglite where the grab bar is...

Are you concerned that somebody may walk by and see your fancy shiny maglite and think, hey, I want that and break your window out for it? - after all, these aren't cheap flashlights.

I got the mounts, and was going to mount mine here, but that concern came up. I currently have it wedged down on the floor between my center consol and the drivers seat.

For all Canadians out there, I bought a MagLite today at WalMart for $29.95, it's a MagLite 3D. This is the best price I could find in a store, unless you want to pay ridiculous shipping prices.

I know that a lot of people asked about the mounting brackets for a Maglite flashlight, but this guy on ebay has some to buy.

Brackets

I got my brackets at Sam's club with the 4d light for twenty bucks. I've also seen the brackets only at Bass Pro. Mounted mine just inside the door in the back, stays out the way and has easy access.
