Cb
I am looking for a cb and not really sure if i should spend alot of money and get a nice looking one or just spend like 35 bucks and just have one that works. If i were to get a $35 cb would it work just as well as a $100 cb or should i buy the $100. And when i get it should i hook it up straight to the battery or should i just plug it in to the lighter?

you can pick up a good cobra 29 classic for under 50 if u look at pawn shops, a buddy just bought the cobra 29 with nw i wanted from a pawn shop and they only wanted 70 for it new in box...there is a texas ranger brand i been looking at thats about 60 new and has some of the same features as the cobra 29...as for hooking it up if your not going to be running a amp or anything jus tie into something...if u are going to get more advanced with it hardware it to the battery but be sure to use a inline fuse...

I have a Cobra 29 NXWXST something lol. I got it for free though, but all the added features are nice. The weather is nice when your on the road, but for me its just a text to google away. The Nightvision and Soundtracker are great though, easy to see at night and it filters almost all the fuzz out of the connection.

Yeah I have the Cobra 19 DX with a 4' Firestick Antenna and it works good. I like just for its size. I use the radio quite a bit especially wheeling with friends or out on the logging roads up here and its never let me down.
Keep in mind with cb radios the more you pay the more, the more you get. I picked my cb up for 65 at Flying J and then for the coax, mount, and antenna was another 25. bucks

I'm runnin this on my roof... Between the visors...
In this spot
I'm gonna be taking my setup to a Comm. place near my parents house this weekend to get it tuned and ask them about the HID's and their feedback noise I get through the CB..
I love the radio tho... Bein able to change the channel with the mic is always good!... It's fairly cheap too... I'm runnin a 4ft whip with spring and about 18ft of coaxial cable..
