Seat Swap couple questions
Couple of questions I have after searching I looked mainly at this post: ( I know its different site just only post with pics i could find)
http://www.rangerpowersports.com/for...ght=seat+swaps
And it answered a couple things but I still have a few questions.
I have a 98 with buckets wanting to put in 04 60/40. Firstly I dont have the 04 buckles for either seat.
My questions:
1. Looking at the old buckles on the new seats in the link I posted above, are they tight on there? Because when I look at the different bolts they look like it would just be sliding back and forth.
2. How hard would it be to get set of newer black seatbelts and buckles and swap them out? Would the seatbelts swap into the tensioner and everything on my 98 at all?
3. Whats the best tool to use to unbolt my 98's seats? I know its a T50 but will using it in a plain old ratchet wrench be enough?
4. As I mentioned above not having the bolts for my new seats Would anyone know what size and if its a different thread or where I could get some. Even where I could get some belts if its possible to use them?
I thinks thats it for now im just trying to figure it out.

Ok so as of now Im not able to get the rear bolts of the seats off, using a breaker bar and i've hit them for the last 2 days with some liquid wrench and another rust buster. Some people have said use an impact gun but the t 50 I got is already in a socket so how would I go about getting it on an impact gun? I also do want to strip them either.

You sure it is a T50? mine are a T55 if i remember correct. You can just get an adaptor to go to your impact size (they're usually 1/2in drive). A good impact will get it out...if not, use a huge breaker, lol.
Oh, and make sure you get seats out of the same kind of cab that you have. they aren't swappable...

Oh damn dude i was so frustrated taking out the rear bolts on the seats i JUST got. i stripped one of the heads out on the torx by putting too much force on it and i had to drill out the head with a 1/2" drill bit haha but i got it out and used my stock bolts!
It is a T55. i took the seats out of an 03 FX4 and it was a T55. These right?
if its those its a T55
EDIT: oh damn i just noticed my desk is filthy with dust lol
