Matt (99Ranger4x4) shot me a text earlier in the week saying he was gunna be in the Springs over the weekend. So, I told him cool... kinda went on my own way not thinking much about it until I got a text today seeing what I was up to. Unfortunately I was working, but my work is right off I-25 so I told him to swing in for a bit as there wasn't anything going on. His truck doesn't look near as bad as he makes it out to look by the way Sh!t, mine has more damage than his!!! I still had my dial in times from racing in the Street ET race at Bandimere speedway last night. Ran a consistant night with the exception to my first round elimination when the air changed and the truck ran a little slower. Ran a 17.84 my first time with a 2.65 60', 2nd time 17.88 with a 2.67 60'. Dialed a 17.80 in case the truck ran faster, ran an 18.11 due to the air quality at that point. Not bad for a stock motor on 32's at elevation!
P.S. The truck is the cleanest it's been since I've owned it this weekend and it's driving me nuts!!!
who took pictures of these ugly trucks? j/k, your truck looks kinda shiny matts truck is lookin good too, nice pics
Yeah, I told him he made his truck out to be beat to hell when it really isn't. I had mine cleaned for this weekend at the strip. I wouldn't have passed tech with it the way it was, so I went to town on it this week.... it's bugging me how clean it is though!
So tonight, on the way back to Laramie, Matt stopped by again... this time to let my boss see the Ranger. Well one thing lead to another and my boss wanted to see it flex, so we attempted to get some flex out of the truck.... on pallets and a cable spool. Didn't work and ended up destroying the pallets... It was pretty cool.
DONT BLAME ME!
i was doin 80 on 25 i couldnt exactly shoot ya a PM lol
i did tell Chuck to though..
speaking of which get those pics up thats some funny **** when your boss is in on it!
a stock bumper is never going back on, i'll build a beefy one after the SAS, i dont want it getting in the way of the sas and having to redo it..the grill is laying the living room awaiting the new header panel so i can actually mount it up.
I'll be down again in a few weeks. i'll plan it better, that way we can meet up with Larry, aka Warlord with the mid 90s ranger on 36s and there will be a truck to make mine look small

mines on 37s FOOOO!!!
let me know though, probably wont bring the ranger but we can meet up!
no mines on 37s now. but thats because I found a trade for my 35s I didnt want to pass up. being on 37s right now kinda sucks, especially since I cant wheel it like this :(
but when I build, I will build with clearance in mind for 40s, but thats probably a couple years down the road. I wont go over 40s though, that would take any challenge out of it...
i just wanna leave it around 38s because at first it will probably be on leaves.. link it up and bring it back to earth then go to 40s maybe.. 38s seem to be a nice medium i see on a lot of trucks

37s with my planned wheelbase will give me plenty of challenge while still remaining very capable in colorado. IMO 37s are the perfect colorado size...
