Central Texas Get together
Hey guys, I would like to have a get together here in Central Texas. Nothing more than a get together at a friends pizza shop, but it has a huge parking lot, and great food. His shop is having a hard time financially, after spending so much to get started, then the economy tanks. I am going to plan a monthly car show there, and I have a bunch of friends that would bring their rides too.
I would like to do one this Sat or Sunday. I know its last minute, but if there is enough interest, I can make it happen, and I will even buy a huge amount of the food. You can BYOB your beers etc.... If I can get a group together its a go, and I will bring the ranger. If not, I might try again next weekend.
I know its last minute, but if your interested let me know ASAP.
Saccones Pizza off of 620 and Anderson mill.

I need a time frame that will be consistent week to week.
How about Saturday from 7-10?
if he gives it a few weeks it may be the talk of the town.
When I was in Austin, the meets kept moving. It used to be the Home Depot at 620 and 1431. After a few weeks it was too big of a headache and Home Depot started bringing the cops in. It wasn;t uncommon to have a 100 hotrods. from Stangs to vets to ratrods to vipers.
After it was shut down it went to Autozone on 620 and i35. That didn't last long.
Vanns also set up a deal on 620 and it went away.
I'm just bringing this up cause once this is unleashed it could get huge and out of control. Imports doing there immature import stuff seems to be the common thing that shuts them down. Its hard to start this and the word not spread around to make it grow. It becomes its own entity.
