Well lets vote then, how do you make a pole? I'll figure it out. voting will be on, Meeting in Evansville - or Owensboro. I'm going to get some info on some interesting things to do and places to eat at, maybe that will help with the decision. any one feel free to make suggestions. I wanted to start this thread before any dates were set to see if any one would be interested, so thats why I don't have much info about were to meet and what to do.

Here's a list of motels in Evansville, since most every body that has posted on here is either from indiana or illiniose, we can all meet in Evansville, Hows the mall parking lot sound, then we could all go eat, at either logans raod house, texas road house, or golden corrall, I can't think of any more restourants, then go to the river for a photo shoot, more activities still pending. Evansville hotels

you can't add a pole to an existing thread. Probably talk to the moderators about adding one.
Ya'll should head down towards Henderson and hit up the river bottoms/Higgins-Henry wild life preserve. Bunch of old gravel roads that lead to a pretty awesome view of the river. Follow it around and it'll take you over to the Uniontown/Shawneetown bridge.
I'm sure my dad will go along if he gets the transmission replaced.

Henderson? It's right over the bridge on US 41 (i think that's the road. it's been a while since I've been home, sadly) From Evansville, I'm going to say about 15min to the Sloughs. I've forgotten how to get there... I know you drive past the Henderson airport and go past a little town (Mt. Zion I think)
Here's a link to the wildlife area called the Sloughs

If ya'll are interested, I can call my dad in the morning and get the names/roads.

If you want to go a little more south and west, you can hit up Kentucky Lake/Lake Barkley. There's a FANTASTIC restaurant called Pattie's. And a billion places to take pictures by the lakes and dams. My parents love to go down there and drive around on the bison/elk preserve. Well, my mom loves it and my dad goes because it shuts my mom up.
