yep, and later they will be making the very limited production Raptor XT ( so limited that i believe it wont be even called a production vehicle it will be something like the Ford GT was a few years back) the xt includes a full 4130 cromoly cage, 4 linked rear suspension, functioning bead lock wheels and no vin number for around 100,000

there will still be the production raptor starting at like 45 or 48k but the xt is gonna be sick, if you do get the raptor are you gonna get the xtra cab or the cc?

It will definitely be the Crew Cab, which is why I plan to wait. Although, depending on price, it might make more sense to get a regular Crew Cab F-150 so that I can afford to keep the Ranger. Then I'd use the F-150 as a daily and the Ranger for offroading.

 

I'd definitely sell it private party. Like I said, I think I have just decided to get a nice SuperCrew F-150 instead since my Ranger is paid off. That way I can afford to keep my Ranger to use for offroading.

This is all assuming I don’t run across a buyer for my Ranger, but I won’t be actively looking anymore. I’ve actually already had several offers very close to my asking price though.

hey KLC, you do realize that even with all of your upgrades and whatnot, your gonna have a hard time getting 20k out of it?

 

yeah i think with the economy and stuff, it would be hard to get what you put into it. i would love to have it, but unless i hit the lottery anytime soon, i couldn't get it. i might be getting rid of my ranger and getting a car. i really don't want too, but i have a kid now and need something with a good back seat and not just one that folds up and down.

I don't agree as I've been offered $19K just by someone hearing about it by word of mouth. I'm confident I could get my asking price if I advertised it. Although like I said earlier, I've since decided not to actively try to sell it. Instead I plan to just get a regular SuperCrew F-150 so I can keep my Ranger. And, $20K is not even close to what I have in it.

 

That’s the bad thing about Rangers, they are very impractical. They have a horrible ride stock, have no interior room for either the driver and passenger or cargo, can only hold two people, get horrible gas mileage for the size, etc...

 

yeah, i got a new car. it's a 2007 chevy cobalt and it gets around 30 in town and 33 highway. the payments are higher, but when i figure the amount i will be saving in gas, it will equal out in the end. plus, i can fit my son in the back seat now. and the transmission is going out again, so that would be another 1500 dollars i don't have to fix it. so, sorry guys, no more meets with me.

sorry, the ranger is gone now. the muffler was welded on and i wasn't sure if the new owner wanted it or not and they did. so, guess no more having fun with you guys. it was a blast when we did have a meet though. it was nice meeting all of you and maybe one day i will buy another ranger.
