Hi! Glad I found this forum as I have a 1990 Ranger Reg Cab 2.3 5 speed and both of my sons have Rangers: Oldest has 1998 Extended cab 4.0 AT, youngest has 1998 Reg Cab 4.0 AT. All 3 are 4x2 drive. I have some questions as I would like to make mine last forever and be my everyday driver/project combo and my sons need to learn about taking care of their wheels. I have a cleaning business and also do detailing of vehicles so I'd love to share what I know and pick your brains on things like: what kind of seats can you swap for a 1990 60/40, and is synthetic the best choice for all lubrication from chassis to rear gear to engine. I look forward to becoming an active member so let me know if I can help you or vice-versa! Thanx!!

Welcome! You'll hear both ways on synthetic... but personally I use it for everything!

Occasionally, but they don't seem real helpful, more like a @#$#!@! contest. I detail to the best of my ability and after all these years, I'm still learning! I will try to help who I can but don't want to argue or try to prove myself on a forum, I can do that on the paint. Anything you wanted to know specifically?
