Hello
Hello,
My name is Kathy and I have a hand down 1991 Ranger. It sat under a tree in a driveway for five or six years. The truck was given to my son, but he isn't comfortable with standard transmission. I am in the process of getting it repaired, but there is a lot to do. I hope to have it in good shape by the fall.

I hope to get him used to driving standard transmission. My daughter was just given a 1995 Escort with a manual transmission and she has to learn how to drive it. The nice thing for her is that there is an arrow that lights up when you need to shift. She knows that it is just a guideline, but it does help some. As soon as she gets a better feeling for shifting and recognizes the engine sounds, she will be able to shift on her own.
