Former Ford Ranger Owner interducing His Self

Hi Wanna Say hello to all the Ranger members on this forum,My name Is George and i live some where in southeast Michigan as i Used to own a Green 2001 Ford Ranger Ext.cab 4x4 that i got new in Dec. of 2000 and had 21/2 years to go and would of been paid off until it was involved in a accident back in July 31,2005 when a dumb lady pulled out in front of my dad who driving it at the time when this happened, Yes i Had Insurance at the time thank god for that as the lady got a ticket for causing more then $7500 worth of damage from the accident, but come to find out Just this week or so from my insurance people told me that she did not have Insurance and lied to the cops, now this puts me in a red hot 4 alarm inferno : and lately Ford Motor Credit been calling and trying to after me because of the deductible.
After ten days of the accident that lady called her insurance company and said that this how it happened and got money for it and never paid for her insurance premium, my people said that she defraud Progressive and so far my people are going after the lady again for the deductible now that its been nearly 3 years, they tried the first time and was not successful as i been told that i should find her and make her pay for it and I will too as this dose not know who she's dealing with .

What I would like to know if any of you members had this happen to you and/or had to go though something like this.

here is The video link that i Put on StreetFire.net I hope that you all will

Wow, wreck was 3 years ago, and they are just now finding out that she "defrauded" the insurance company? And besides, whether or not she ever paid her premium, if the insurance agreed to cover her on that date, they took on the responsibility for what happened.

Not only that but there is a statute of limitations. In Ohio, I think it is 3 years. Regardless of settling w/ insurance you can still sue the responsible party and go after their assets yourself within that time frame. I would have been calling Progressive myself daily until I had a check in hand. Also, if payments are being made, most lenders require full insurance, to protect their investment. I think out of my insurance costs per year at $750 for the wife and I to insure both vehicles with a good record, we are looking at only $50 a year for uninsured/underinsured. I would never go without. Last, the new thing is GAP issurance. If a new vehicle is bought or leased and payments are being made for X years, Gap would provide the difference if totaled. Again, well worth the cost.

Howdy. You may have to just suck it up and pay your deductible. I had to when my insurance co. couldn't collect when I was t-boned by an illegal Mexican with no insurance or license, he gave the wrong name and they couldn't find them and there was no way I could either. I got stuck with the deductible, but ins. paid everything else.
