I have a '96 ranger with tints on the driver and passenger windows. My '97 Ranger does not have them. I'm swapping parts and keeping the '96 and very much prefer the non-tinted windows. How do I go about swapping windows from truck to truck?

PS I don't want to strip the tints. I hear that is a royal pain and may not look good. I'd much rather swap the glass out before selling my '97.

 

pull the door panel off, move window regulator to where you can see the rivets holding the glass to the regulator, drill them out, tilt/rotate glass around until it slides up and out of the door. slide new glass back in same way old came out, put bolts/nuts back in place of the rivets (unless you have a 1/4" rivet gun) and put the door panel back on.
