That looks good they are almost not visible at all but I like it. Has anyone done this on a truck that isnt black?

I think that it would look alot better if you blacked them out on a light colored vehicle, you may as well just take them off if you plan to make them invisible? imo

seriously. using metal screw drivers is insane. its metal vs paint = bad kinda of common sense. the fact that you did it without scrathing it is commendable. but i would suggest using the thick side of a plastic knife froma picnic set or something.....think back to science class when they talked about hard scales. the paint is harder than the plastic :P

What about using fishing line? a buddy of mine told me that would also work better than a screwdriver...

The sticky tape behind the emblem is too thick I used a screw driver on mine too, and if you stick the screw driver directly behind the emblem you still have some of the tape between the screw driver and the paint.

I used fishing line and a heat gun and a plastic putty knife to do mine. Came off easy.

Color matched wedgewood blue and orange letters to match my pinstripe. Lots of time to do it but way worth it in the end result.

After i take the emblems off and paint them how do i put them back on? I see double-sided tape but is that strong enough and where do you get that?

Is the double-sided tape just like a 3M brand or something?
