Doing Some Painting
I need to repaint my rims. i did them once before but i didnt do it right so im going to redo. and since im going to have all the tires off anyways i thought i would do the calipers and drums. i dont know what color to do tho. i was thinking either black or maybe green. maybe a lime green?? or even the color of the truck. freshly painted rims over rusted looking brakes doesnt look the best, ya know?
Also im going to repaint my grill (black as well) and i thouhght i would paint all the trim associated with the grill black. (the trim that is over the grill and wraps around the lights.) but idk how well you can paint chrome. and the chrome isnt in the best shape right now so it would look 100 times better painted.
My girlfriends dad is going to help and he is a profesional painter so it will get done right this time. i just want to know everything i want to do so i dont have to waste as much of his time.
Let me know what ya think..

Make sure your prep is done right. When doing your wheels make sure you clean and sand them down. I sanded mine then used steel wool with soap in it to clean my wheels. Acetone after that then wash them really good and dry real good. You should be all set to paint them. It is all about prep
