07 4x4 wheel ideas

this could probably be put into the wheels and tires forum but i had a few ideas floating around in my head and this spot seemed better. anyways.

i just picked up a white 07 ranger 4x4 and im going to start of by changing the wheels.. in your opinions what would look better on the truck: Chrome/Polished wheels, Flat/Matte/Teflon Wheels, Gloss Black Wheels etc.

The truck has the back 3 windows tinted with the stock black bumpers and black fender flares...at first i was leaning towards black wheels but i havent found any pictures that really got me interested. Right now it looks like i will be putting 265/75/16 bfg ATs on it but that may all change. any insight is appreciated.

15x8 with 32x11.5x15 polished or chrome wheels....

no point paying for 16" rims and tires when you can run 15 and you are replacing rims and tires at the same time...

Looking at putting these on, 16x8, it has the same backspacing as the stock wheels, and probably going to put 265x75 16 bfg mudterrains on..... size fit, from what i hear they should.

or these, as shown in another thread

Here is my truck btw, for some input and other reccomendations.

The second set of wheels look good. I am with Stone though. If you are getting new tires at the same time get 15" wheels there is a big price difference in tires.

Go with backspacing of 3.75 if you don't with the bigger tires it will look like too narrow.

okay so none of those ones i showed you guys come in a 15x8, only 16x8 with 4.5 spacing, also lookin for a finish that will hold up okay in canadian winters. ie salt sand ice snow water mud you name it. With the MT II's they advise you take your wheels off in the winter for those such things. is this really as much of an issue as it sounds? any other wheels you guys might reccomend with those specs 15x8 16x8 etc, would be cool

15" tires are quite a bit cheaper, but if you like the rims that only come in 16" then I say do it. Sometimes you have to pay a little more for what you really want. If on the other hand you like something that comes in a 15" size then I would definately do that.

Wow your truck doesnt look 4x4 at all haha. Looks the same height as my 2wd! Ive never seen one like that. Anyway, Yea I would stick with 15x8 if you can and get 32s on there, I dunno what size you have stock but it doesnt look big!

Wow is it a fleet truck or something? I didnt know they had them with those kinds of tires? Anyway, I have no idea how high ur truck is off the ground. Usually on 4x4 you can fit 32s with a Tbar crank I believe.

Its a Canadian Model...I live in Canada if that changes anything. I measured lastnight and the front end from ground to top of wheel well is 33.5" and the back is 36.5"....quite a difference (any way to fix that...levelling?) anyways im not very truck literate and i understand what cranking the t bars does, but im not sure what and where they are...or if my truck has them. ive checked out the search already for Tbar stuff.
