All sounds great man other than two suggestions I'd make.

1) I think I'd stick with the factory headlights and maybe look into the headlight mod.

2) Save money on the exhaust setup! Get a muffler of your choice and just get a muffler shop to do it! You can do the tips or tip exactly how you want and you'll def. Save some dollars!

Edit: I guess I was wrong...you just meant bulbs im guessing? If so, I'd say Sylvania Silverstars or maybe even Hids! You might could look into PIAA bulbs as well.

Yeah I was just talking about the bulbs. I'll look into the headlight mod and the brands you recommended. I just picked the first brand name bulb that I saw online. As for the exhaust, I just liked the design of the system I picked which was the tip exit in front of the rear passenger side tire. Thanks for your input.

Check out zabeard's old exhaust setup..it was in front of the tire and it looked great. Also check out the bassani system..best sounding setup I've heard I think. Sounds mean!

E3's have a big advertising budget---you're better off sticking with Motorcraft Platinum plugs.
And give yourself plenty of time to change them-it's usually a pretty miserable job unless you're quadruple-jointed!

Have you looked into the Kenwood 994 instead?? I'm either going with that or some sort of a double din unit...

I know you mentioned in another thread you wanted to lift it. If you're on a budget, do a 3 inch body lift, and put 33's on it. Not too much more money for the tires.. and the body lift is like 200ish.

My Kenwood KDC 794 is awesome, just sayin

Go with stock bulbs or get Silverstar ultras (or the cheaper Phillips version)

Skip the radar detector and just keep a sharp eye out

For a Ranger, if you really want one get a cheap one from walmart. Like the $30 Cobra. Still work pretty well. I used one but I rarely speed, I just like knowing when police are near so I don't get that "shock" when I see the black and white car.

"DiamondFire" spark plugs are a waste of money.

Just like "Pulstar" plugs, "SplitFire" plugs, along with Bosch twin and quadruple electrode plugs, "Fire Injectors" from about 40 years ago, and any other snake-oil stuff.

Platinum Motorcraft, Autolite or Denso Iridium plugs FTW, unless you're boosted, then go pure copper electrodes. Everything else FTL.

Great list my only suggestion would be to look at the kenwood
Speakers*Kenwood - KFC-P680C speakers. Avoids the oval woofer but fits I. The 6x8 form ou trucks like :)

silverstar ultras are amazing! well worth every cent.
and spark plugs are only allowed a certain charge by your vehicle. so the design is the key factor when you get up into the high quality plugs, dont buy because the commercial said so, do research. I have the 1 nipple 2 finger plugs (dont remember name) and I noticed a little more power, very little.and they cost way less than 40$

oh and truck bed liner FTW. neighbors 150 has that exact stuff in it. I love the feel of it and it appears quite durable and tough but its not ugly at the same time. good choice

Wow thanks for all the feedback guys. This is all going into major consideration. I don't start working again until February (I work on a farm) so I have about 2 months to think about all of this until I make a final decision. I'll keep doing the research and let you guys know what I come out with in the end. Oh and Mark, thanks a lot for the p.m. that really helped out. :)
