not bad, beats the 40 bucks the Dealership wants...

You will find you get get the same performance increase out of the K&N decal, as you do from their filter!!

I noticed very little from the filter in terms of performance, but my mileage did go up some... Its nice as well to just clean it and reinstall...

i thought they only had the 2.5 now? either way that old 2.3 with 8 sucked! nothing like the ease of changing the plugs on the 4.0.

its efficiency or so they say. i think it works like this...

in goes the fuel
spark on plug 1
exhaust valve opens
exhaust valve closes
spark on plug 2
exhaust valve opens
exhaust valve closes

start back over.

as far as the filter goes I now am running lower RPM's for an odd reason, gas mileage did increase... my old filter was alot thicker than the K&N filter. I now run 2000 @ 60 MPH vs. I use to run about 2300-2500 odd eh...

AS OF TODAY I REFERRED TO MY MANUAL and this is what I saw

3.0L uses 4.5 4.0L uses 5
