Had an awesome yet very cold day out quading! 700+ pounds in the A** end and you could hardly tell it was there for power going up hills, plus it gave me the prerunner stance
I left the big quad for my dad, "Bertha" we call it weighs well over 800 pounds and was VERY tight in the Ranger box, with some hardcore sag going on

The ones in the pics are actually just my dads and grandpa's, I'll be buying my own next year hopefully

You can ride dirt bikes too.. I always like riding quads until I learned to ride on 2 wheels.. nothing like it.

lol the grizzly 660 is actually pretty light for it's size....Bertha(the arctic cat) not so much...had about an inch left over on each side on the box

Found out the limits of a 2wd with an open diff today haha, I had just gone to canadian tire to pick up some "Traction Aid" things like this -
Right after I went to a parking lot that I knew hadn't been plowed yet to test them, long story short the snow got REALLY deep fast with tons of ruts and I got stuck. Oh and the traction aid plate thing is useless with an open diff, all it does it stop the tire from spinning that it's under, the other just blazes right up and you go nowhere! Lucky my buddy in his 4x4 Dakota showed up and towed me
Doesn't look to deep but at certain spots were well over half way up my tires and he made it look easy...defiantly need that locker already

When i bought it I thought it came with 2 ramps but I was wrong, guess I'll return it on Monday for the better one. And yea the 4wd would be nice at times but this is my first vehicle so I didn't have a lot to spend on it.....plus 24mpg

Gas mileage is definitely nice. Then again I only drive mine 4 months out of the year since I'm at school most of the year and don't have it with me.

No way I'm buying a 4x4 never mind a new vehicle anytime soon, love this thing way to well and 95% don't need 4x4 until I get to adventures

My dad DD a 91 ranger for a while and then got a 05 honda civic lol lots of money in gas. But then again gas has been falling like crazy around here.. 1.95 a gallon where I'm at. As long as the 2wd does what you need!
#45
Gas is so cheap here also! I think it was 79 cents a lt last time i checked! And haha ya we'll find out about that tomorrow when i go offroading with that Dakota guy. I'll post plenty of pics of me being towed
#46
Nice! Looking forward to the pics! Don't feel too bad about having to get towed haha I get stuck all the time and have to get towed out by friends that have built rigs

Had an awesome day at Seddons Corner with my buddy, was really fun but short
Impressive for stock suspension I'd say...and I'm ordering spacers and shocks later this week :D
Not tuesday but still..
His rear left tire was completely off the ground...silly dodge can't out flex a Ranger!
These is where the trip kinda took a downfall...while stuck in the deep snow he managed to push snow up through the frame into the engine bay pushing the power steering line against the manifold melting it
We would have been nothing without a shovel and tow straps
You can faintly see me stuck out in the distance(only time I actually couldn't shovel my well out of and had to be towed)
