What the hell is your problem? Why do you have to be such a pompous *** about everything? Can't you have some nice things to say to people? If you're not going to tell us what you are doing then why did you start this thread now? You could have just as easily started it after you were done and not even had to deal with any of this crap, and you would have been showered with praise for doing something that nobody else has done (that is if you are actually swapping in an ifs setup and not a just a straight axle (a.k.a. SAS)). If you're going to be so secretive to people whom most of which you will never lay eyes on in your life, what was the point of starting this thread now and just being a douche bag to everyone who comes through this thread just wondering what the hell you are doing? Maybe I'm completely off in left field, but I'd wager a guess that just about everyone in this thread is wondering who gave you the right to be an *** to everyone. If you're really as old as you say you are then you have missed a lot of important lessons in maturity, such as the basic kindergarten rule: be kind to others, and the golden rule: do unto others as you would like to be done unto you. People like you are the ones who make me wonder what society is coming to when someone cant even be kind to people they have never even met. Every time you post, it just degrades you further, and you're on a fast track to losing all your support in this thread. So I believe that I can speak on behalf of the rest of us (maybe not), be nice or end thread. Because everyone is tired of getting *****ed out for asking the simple question: What exactly are doing? now I have listened and responded to your rant, I am going to respond now, here goes.

 

This is correct, but it's not what i am doing, I have another ranger that has full sponsorship and it will be built as a pre-runner with some of the currents builds that are going on. I am not allowed right to put up pics as they want everything finished first, but if the members feel as though the thread should close, than either way I'm okay with it. I will hover send you the pics when its's complete. you will be the first to see them.

 

I have read and followed this thread thoroughly. If you will notice, I was the third one to post. I'm not sure where in this thread it shows why you should have reacted in the way you did. People have been trying to be nice to you, if you havent noticed. Since when do people start mystery threads? I mean, it's your thread so do what you want, but it seems kind of stupid if you ask me. Also, nowhere in this thread does it say anything about how you treat demands. The only thing it demonstrates is you got all worked up over nothing and started all the fighting in this thread. Thanks so much for your understanding and wording in your post, This is exactly what did it; however my seem childish behavior was a direct results of those who made fun of the thread and those who demanded to see pics, and I will take responsibility for going overboard with the antics, but darn it's was nice while it lasted. I will try and sneak some pics today at the shop, and i will send them to you and razoredge if I successfully get them, Please promise me that you will not post them as they are serious about the nature of the photos getting out before the project is finished. The speculation went crazy, I know that this particular thread may have hit a good nerve for 2 wheel drive rangers , but I did not expect to post, and return with replies so darn fast. WOW! Razor since the death of my son and my 1 year old granddaughter, Something sparked in me to finish the complete build on his ranger, You see i DRIVE 2 OTHER VEHICLES AND one is a 2008 MB CL550 Lo rinser AND A 2007 BMW 6-Series, Now when I started to do this project for my son when he was still alive, my love for American cars returned, I found myself wrenching and creatively fabbing things like a former younger me. It was exhilarating the least. Now I have a brother in law that owns a huge truck shop in town, been around for more than 30 years, He approached me with the sponsor idea and had a meeting with 3 other big name brands in the biz.

now may I remind you that although I started to love american cars again, I was not prepared to turn my son's ranger into something different than already planned, but my brother in law said we don't have to do that, let's take one of your other rangers and use it for the project, I said Okay got and since I have 3 other wrecked rangers on my land that are really all in great shape, considering the damage. I was like WOW, this would be great to do some high tech sort of stuff to a ranger and be able to leap 5-10 in the air when done, I than got that second spark I needed to get me back into the ranger and continue what I was set out to do.

Wow! who would have thought I would love the ranger so much that I sometimes go to the garage and actually sit in it and talk to my son in spirit. Now I have no interior pics to put up yet, but remember the member name "RWENZING" I am in that same process of making my interior look just as good. Thanks agin and i will forward pics.

P.S rAZOReDGE If you could erase my rebuttal post to the individual or individuals that were going back and forth in a debate or whatever it was I would appreciate it as it will allow me to get back on topic or those that really want to see the project, yet are very patient. Thanks you!

 

hey i ive been researching to this for a long time!!! i will be watch this build too. but what i would like to see is your price log. and part log. and everything that needed to be changed to do this conversion. i also own a xlt 2wd ranger and i am looking to convert it to 4wd drive. plz keep me posted thanks
