I have a 3.0 L from a 98 ranger. It blew a piston ring so I am planning on taking it all apart and rebuilding it. I thought it would be a nice touch to rebuild with performance parts but I am not completely for sure what all parts I will need and should replace. I would like to increase HP but also not completely kill gas mileage. SO my question is what all pieces do I need to be pricing and looking for?
