Fugly Duckling ( Don't get excited Dave! )
I'm not going to answer questions. Ask if you want, you'll just stay guessing.
I decided I'm finally tired of driving around with dents, dings, scratches and 5 years worth of street racing damage. Clear coat chipping/peeling off.. Nobody elses truck is on the ' agenda ' right now so.. I started in on mine.
The bad thing was the local ' Throw Down ' was tonight at the local track. Brian scored 4 wins agains't an Evo, A turbo neon, Lost to a Cobra/Terminator and beat a Z28.
My new clutch isn't broken in yet so I couldn't have run anyway. So instead..

Tomorrow I start grinding on the filler in the doors and on the bed. I'm hoping Tearlock or Bri will stop by.

( I forgot about this thread.. )
I just knocked the dents out and re-shot the Sonic Blue. I have like a gallon of it here. Its been raining all week so.. with the humidity, can't really do any quality painting. Still learning as well so.. Why not waste paint I won't need for now and wait till winter when I can rip the whole thing apart as I won't be driving it?
I'm starting to get decent with paint.
From today's meet.. in the rain..
I re-did the clear coat from the doors back. Didn't touch the fenders or hood. I DID however do the piece that runs in front of the windshield.

Never noticed before how you have no gap between the bumper and grille, was it as simple as drilling out the bumper mounts on the forks?
Looks damn good, I know you said you wouldn't answer questions.. worth a shot, lol.

I actually modified the bumper itself. The tracts where the connecting bolts slide up and down. I lengthened those runs instead of the bumper mounts.
Your method would work as well thought. If not enough material is on one, some could be extracted off the other to make up the difference.
It all works

Lemme run that one through the ' nek-o-nator ' and translate it.
"What have you done to it?"
Most of it is in my profile. Theres a few things left out but they aren't anything ' major '. More is going to be done in the very near future.
