Gears are completely done, manual hubs are in, rear d-shaft is in. Just waiting on those damn adapters so I can get it to a shop.

Started the truck up for the first time tonight in a long time. I put it in Drive and nothing happened, my heart then dropped. While it was idling I went and checked it in Park and no fluid was touching the dipstick. So I added 6 qts and tried it again... BINGO! I need to go get a few more qts tomorrow and I want to drive it around the hood.

Oh and if anyone is wondering... a 4.0 is loud as hell with nothing but mainifolds.

No, I'll have an exhaust. I just haven't put mine back on yet after taking it off to remove the tranny.

Did you completely drain all the tranny fluid? It holds 10.3 quarts total.

nice! get that tranny fluid full! also you need to go through getting the air out of the tranny too. you can do this by having the tires off the ground and putting it in reverse and drive letting it go though the gears.

The tranny is completely full now and is ready to go. But I pulled my dads truck this morning into the yard after coming from my g.f's house and now it's stuck. I'm going to try to see if my little brothers toyota will pull it out. lmao
