Taylor's 89 VW Golf GL

It isn't that hard to turn a little car's wheels with no power steering. Takes some muscle, but not as much as the dude that popped in with his 2.3 liter and 30" tires.
Don't worry about your little VW being hard to turn... it won't be. Once you're rolling, it's barely any harder than a power steering equipped car. If anything, you'll get a little bit stronger.
However, be very worried about turning the wheel on a school bus or a deuce and a half... that's hard work there. Kickbacks while holding the wheel in those can result in broken arms.

Well crap. I had to limp the v-dub down the street to get a tire patch today.
I stupidly left my tire patch kit in my truck. A couple of guys working a cabinet shop helped me out.
I knew that the Golf needed new front tires when I bought it, but I didnt see the one little spot.
The hole could've waited a couple of days....no?

I only had time to replace the doors handles last week.
Stuff came in earlier this week.
Seller threw in 4 Yellow Stuff brake pads (barely used), and stuffed it all in one box lol (it had some weight to it)
Maybe some pictures later.
So, to install I have:
All 4 Brembo brake rotors
Brake pads
New control arms with poly-something bushings and b-joints
Short shifter
USRT shift linkage upgrade
Multiple gauges (oil pressure, voltage, stuff like that)
And some interior parts.
