I got the same answer from all of them,no. Said there wasnt anything out there that would do what I wanted....then almost the same day I finished that truck I found an ad for the Kicker unit in Four Wheeler mag! As far as I know Kicker is the only one making something like this.
Thinking out loud.

Most amps have RCA inputs. Most ipods (iphones whatever) have an 3.5mm output (headphone jack)

They make RCA to 3.5mm cables.
I totally missed whatever link you posted. but i do like to think i know something about audio stuff.

1) Its better to use the 30 pin/lightning connector on iDevices as it delivers better audio quality. Noticeably better over a large system. Plus you can control the iDevice from the stereo rather then having to use the device.

2) You can make your own RCA to headphone cable reaaaaally easily. Just cut the red and white cables and get a pair of old headphones and match the wires. I did it for an old stereo system I had in a boat. If you're a cheap-*** like me, it saves a few bucks.

Yea, it wouldn't be too bad to use the 30 pin, but i think they're trying to achieve a head unit free system.

Just something to listen to an iPod only. naaamean?

Well still waiting on my speedo but here is how the cluster is turning out. Oil,water, volts, fuel, speedo and switches for all the lites.

Got the trans back and intalled. All fresh inside, new converter, locking dipstick and made a new crossmember.Put the 1350 in for now until I get the doubler.

The front half of the exhaust is on but I can already see I will have clearance issues on drivers side with the front driveshaft...will deal with that later.

And I got all new shoes. 37x12.5-16 Iroks on 16x10 Black Rock Lobo wheels.. Now its lookin better!

Also whats everybodies opinion on driveline angle? I have the trans pointing down 10º and to me the t-case looks to far below the framerail. I cant level it out anymore than that because my oil filter adapter is already touching my steering box.

Looking good. My angle was about 5. I dont think it'd hurt anything as long as you make the pinion match.

Yes it's hanging low from the frame standpoint. However, look at your engine crossmember. It looks to be on par with that.

Been workin alot of hours and kinda slowed down lately but I have a 11 day vacation coming up at x-mas and hope to have it rolling by New Years.

Picked up a 4x10 sheet of aluminum for my bed skins, after a rediculous wait from Ballistic I have my upper coilover mounts, spacers, bolts and tracbar mount. Got some new lights and finished my dash. The GPS speedo is sweet!

Going to raise and move motor back a little bit also to make the room I need for oil relocation block clearance and to get a better driveline angle.

No pix today but starting monday progress will be fast...

Why the flares? They don't cover the entire tire. IMO I wouldn't run them, breaking the law a little or a lot is still breaking the law.
Do you guys even have that stupid wheel well law?
Either way it looks great I was just curious.

I wanted a little tire coverage to help stop some of the mud and rocks from beating up the body to bad and I wanted to cover up the sharpe edge of the cut opening. The fenders were really flimsy after I cut them and these flares stiffened them up really good.

well now that the holiday BS is over I can get back after this thing...

Got my radius arms and more front end parts{still waiting for inserts}
1.25 Hiems, brackets, bolts, jams. The stock arms were put in a lathe and the small end was turned down to 1.5" all the way up to where they widen. The tubing is 2" .250 wall chromoly and its all tig welded and when finished they were normalized for strength. These were the 2nd try since the first time around the 2" DOM warped when they went in for the heat treating.

Truck now has a smooth belly.Made some 1" spacers for the motor mounts and that worked perfectly so the oil filter relocation block clears the steeringbox and I was able to get the t-case tucked up above the bottom of the frame rail. Made a new crossmember as well.

Bolted up some front recovery hooks.

I started cleaning up the d44 and got the lower coilover mounts finished.

Goin back out in a few to roll axle back under and bolt up arms and start figuring out the frame brackets...

Question....

Axle is back under the truck, wheels on,arms on using 7º bushings, truck is sitting at ride heigth.

What caster angle should I shoot for at ride heigth?

Tomorrow Im tacking hoops and upper mounts on and with any luck it will sit without stands for the first time. Looks like the coilovers will be leaned backwards 5º and toward motor 10º.

That sound good? Any advice or tips before I get started?

Read that caster should be around 6. That's what I aimed for with my truck.
