I finally washed my truck today after pulling people out of the mud on tuesday.. Started getting the over spray from the previous owner off, and waxed part of the hood, now its raining. Damn Bipolar Texas weather, I wish I had a garage to work in.

i'm also a night owl. i've gotta be at work early. i findit easier to do this sometimes with the girlfriend and work since we have different hours. she's 9-5. i'm on splits, 12-8, 1-10 things like that. at least late at night, i can do things without being interupted or distracted.

How-to: Polish heavily oxidized aluminum wheels - Ford Ranger Forums

here is the how to I wrote. shows everything.

for these just 2000 they werent not to bad. normally I use like 800 then 1500 then 2000.

what wet sanding does is cuts down the high oxidization and smooths out the metal you will see after like 2000 how smooth the wheel is its great. then I use a Power ball and the meguiars polish and it polishes right up.
