Few more teasers of the GT...

Got some more work done last night...been hectic at work and haven't been able to work on it much...none the less, on to pics.

The work horse...

Front end coming apart...

Mocking up the 'radiator'...haha

'Radiator' mounted and secured...this is actually not as easy as some may think. The front bumper is hard as crap to drill and tap out.

Nice and subtle, somewhat hidden. Also notice the sweet work light...

And finally what is in store for the next set of pics to hopefully come soon. Making some room...

Haha, yea. It is hard to see in the pics, but it goes all the way to the top of the bumper...where the top brackets are.

Thanks...I really don't know. It is a buddy of mines, clamps on and has rubber/felt ends so it doesn't damage anything. Light goes everywhere, very nice. I will ask him tomorrow for sure.

1. You won't be able to see the IC hardly at all.

2. Behind the foam bumper is the solid steel impact bumper, so removing the foam won't do me any good. Also, enough air flows through there...this isn't our first rodeo. The foam also plays part in structure for the front bumper cover.

check cornwell.com and snap-on.com as well.. the light is either an l.e.d. bar or a flouescent (sp?) bulb. i used to have an old fluorescent one like that till it fell and broke.
/hack

Lol...my car is just a weekend cruiser. I am sure his car is fast, but we have tons faster. All they have is truck motors and a small cam, or a lil whistle haha.

10# pulley is on at the moment...then tune...then drive...then 12# pulley followed by re-tune and then done. Want to see how this motor reacts to the boost before going for the PSI I want.

Yea import owners get there corn flakes pissed in when we take my buddies 2005 legend lime GT auto to the track... It looks bone stock other than drag slicks... But underneath is a built motor running 16lbs of Pro charged boost at 700 hp.... runs low 9's on pump gas. It so much fun since its a DD... A LOT of pissed off Z06 owners LMAO...

Most of us run 1/8 mi stuff, or closed course/Mexico racing. Don't get me wrong, I have respect for built Evos, just not my style...especially when they have trouble with bolt-on Cobras

Your buddies car sounds like it'll run haha.

The foam only helps if you get bumped by a motorcycle. I always take it out when I do a FMIC.

ehh...I want some structure behind the main part of the bumper cover, the cover is supported largely by that foam piece. I don't want it in there for protection as much as support for the cover I guess. We were debating on taking it out, but for now it will stay.
