Exhaust needs to be fixed or needs to come off. How does it run?

It was fixed, looks much better. It runs good, I love doing 85 to Jax and getting 33mpg! But now it seems like I see red Mazdas all the time.

If you start hearing a loud clacking noise from the engine it more than likely needs a valve adjustment. It should last quite a while if it wasn't abused by the last owner(s).

Nope. None of that

And FYI Korey the exhaust is for looks, it doesn't make any "fart can" noise

I had a car with a so called "fart can." Too bad the "fart can" ran 12s in the quarter.

I didn't have much one to it. Intake, exhaust and downpipe really helped to wake the car up.

Stupid missing gas cap!

The hood was discolored because of the engine heat.

I want it!

I want to give the Accord a wake up but I think the only way is a turbo, which I am not going to spend money on. It's already straight pipe with the cheap muffler, I think headers will help it.

Why thank you! Some of the stock appearing exhaust from racing beat sounded way to raspy so I chose that one. Blutz Nur Spec R 3" piping with a 5" tip.

Back to the Accord:

I think you should not do anything but drive it. Finish school and get yourself a better job first then think about spending all kinds of cash on the car.

Try retuning it, the software is free, online and will do better than spending money on parts. A wideband o2 is all you need.

Ah. Maybe some day.

But it's so tempting to put money into the car

I like it better after the wreck. I agree with just saving your money and enjoy the car for now.

Yeah but it's an Accord. It wont be fast unless it is a 2008 with the 271 horsepower V6 like my uncle's. Even then it's a family car.

What are you putting money into it for? Because if your trying to make it perform better, bolting on parts is a waste of time.
The car will only perform as good as the computer can understand what is going on - tuning it will fix that.

You don't need tuning to be able to see a gain from boltons. The stock computer can adjust a for a little extra air flow. You will see more of a gain when you tune for them.
