House Divide!! My new truck.

here, found these pix... Didn't squat it too bad at all! And the ranger had a decent amount of gear in the bed of it! the second pic is before we left to come home, i had the truck a lil further back on the trailer (less tongue weight) and i didn't like how it towed that way... felt like it was tryin to lift the truck too much, i suppose i like a lil more weight on the tongue...

i think they're ugly. plus im not lifting my tow rig/dd lol
like i said, if i wasnt spending $400 a month on tool payments i would have got a diesel. but i just cant afford any more right now. its always sooooo easy for someone to sit behind a computer and say "you shoulda got this, or that" but at the end of the day your still driving a ranger and for that im sorry

Nice truck! Are there any oil companies around that area? If so, you probably could have bought a nice used fleet vehicle. For example, an oil company here has a 2004 Ford F-150 5.4L Extended Cab 4x4 with 88,XXX miles for $2700. The only thing wrong with it is the bumper is dented and it's super filthy inside and out. Nothing a little TLC could not take care of.

Agreed, although I like my Ranger for what I paid for it.

And abused like a $15 hooker!

-Trans cooler
-scan gauge of some sort
-HIDs (maybe)
-New head unit
-10" sub/amp
...and i've owned it what.. 29 hours?

Haha I had almost 2 grand worth of parts ordered the afternoon I got my truck. I ran a Edge Evolution for about a month and was pretty happy with it. it will monitor 4 gauges while giving you a little boost of HP. I don't know if anyone does it for the 5.3s but they can be custom tuned as well. It does cost a good bit more than a scangauge though. You can use it to correct the speedo for bigger tires too

I have the 4.8, and I do almost entirely highway driving. My commute is 20 miles one way, and I am betting I do about 15 of that on the highway going 60.
Nice list, lol. Personally, I don't think these trucks need HID's. Have you driven it at night yet? The lights are INSANELY bright.

Why dont u have the evolution anymore?
but so far on this tank I've put almost 80 miles on it and its still barely above 3/4.. so im happy so far i guess, as long as its a true gauge unlike Fords.
they're bright, i just like the look of HIDs when your looking at the truck. idk, its one of the things i like but probably won't get. Someone at work has a head unit he'll sell me, and is really good at wiring stereo systems.. so he's gonna wire it for me and when i offered to "buy him a case of beer or something" he said "im sure i'll need something welded" hah

not bad looking. if i get a bigger truck a cheby might be in the mix because i love the interiors. im just not diggin the brown.
had a buddy from high school who had a brown extended cab like yours but he had a 12" cognito lift on it that was powdercoated blue. it wasnt a bad combo. then he rolled it in the dunes and totaled it. bought the truck back from insurance then got another 05 but white and 4 doors then transfered the lift and everything over. his 12" lift he was runnin i think 38s or 40s on 22s haha

Nice truck Matt! I had a 2003 Z71 LT Package... I freaking loved it. The 99-07 Silverados are great trucks. I had a red extended cab on 33's. Does your have the steering rattle in it? mine never would go away. Go with a Flowmaster 40 series dumped. They sound super sexy with the 5.3

i for one hate show trucks, and being IFS it doesn't help any.
