I finally got to go the the 4x4 park near me in Gilbert MN, was a blast! added two small dents to my truck though but was totally worth it!

The trails there are pretty sweet! I believe there are around 36 miles of trails, anywhere from just dirt roads to very technical rock crawling.
Oh I know! Right after I went to Gilbert I went to the car wash and it did absolutely nothing! I still gotta go out and really wash my truck and make it shine.

 

Truck looks good still james! glad to see its moving again. Sadly my explorer hasn't gotten any love this summer. i fantasize about a smaller lift and better tires when i see it parked lol.

Love having the Hancock forest management pass. Lots of fun and great views. mikerider, ever heard of it? I'd recommend getting one!

 

Got some more exterior work done to the truck. I'm just about happy with it. Still need to get 06+ mirrors and tail lights and find a new honeycomb grille.

 

Been up there plenty when people get lost on Bessemer or green mountain. we do containment and coms from the smc lake area and the top of the moon wall. great views but the roads are just fire road nothing 2 exciting. That's what has kept me from buying the $200 pass.

 

Yeah that's true. I do enjoy getting the 5 cords of wood and being able to fish all those lakes though. The wood alone for me makes it worth it haha

 

 

So I'm sure it's on there for function, but that has got to be THE ugliest cap i have ever seen.

My 2004 5-speed Ranger Xl with 290k miles. Nothing dramatic, stock height with stock rims. Just gave the truck a face lift and took care of the light rust on body and heavy rust in truck bed. Painted rockers and bumpers with bed liner and painted that charcoal gray to match interior. Interior was gutted because it was trashed, used to be my father-in-laws work truck.

Painted my new XLT door panels with power options this morning, will have that all set in a couple weeks. Just did my shifter mod so I can reach it...will do updated interior picture later.
