The OHC thread

I wanted to start an OHC thread just to check everyones installs and just to show them off as well. So if you have them, Post them!!

This is mine, painted a hammered grey finish. Second pic is with the Buggman LED panel installed.

still need to do a lot to finish it. plan to wrap the console in the charcoal suede, and paint the black parts DSG. Sunroof switch is inside the garage door opener hole. but i may need to put a door opener in there now.

man it gets tiring having to post the same stuff on 2 different ranger forums

I was gazin on eBay and some OHCs are $50+!!! I was like whoa! I think im gonna buy one off here and install in my Ranger. I think they look cool.

no, it's fine. I put the OHC on to check after cutting and it covers the whole cutout.

Yeah get them off the forums, they are alot cheaper. When I get them at the yards I sell them for 35.00 shipped for everything.

The biggest problem im having is finding one with the temp sensor. I dont want a random green screen to just stare at lol.

They all have temperature sensors. They are located under the drivers side headlight between the bmper frame and core support. They will have 2 wire blue/yellow and blue/white. If you cant find one let me know I can get you one

i was nervous about doing that too, but if you do screw it up, all you have to do is replace the headliner. i bet a lot of people could find one of those for cheap at a j/y. if you take your time and follow all the great how-to's you'll be fine
