Trying out the new lift and a poll

Well, I was bored today, so I figured I'd take a drive and see what I could find to do. As usual, I ended up in the woods messing around with my truck. I don't have 4wd right now (thinking its the hubs) so nothing real exciting but I finally got to drive through the woods in a lifted truck! lol I ended up bending my front skid plate back. Its more of a spash guard for everything up front being its made out of aluminum but ohwell. I'll bend it back and it'll be good to go again. I was gonna take my rear sway bar off but decided against it. I would take off both front and rear but I'm afraid of breaking CV joints in the front if it moves too far. Anyone have any experiance with that happening let me know. Anyhow, heres the pics...

Oh, and while I have a new thread, I might as well throw this in the mix! I was thinking of painting my front bumper because its starting to pit and rust. I don't really like the grey so I was thinking black. But if I did the bumper black, I'd have to do the flares and grill. And I think that'd be too much black. So I was thinking and came up with these ideas... Which one would you do/keep if it were yours? Thanks to dakotahq over at RPS for the PS!

How it is now:

Black everything but grill, grill is a black billet, grill surround is colormatched:

Black everything with same grill but with black around the bottom: (needs painted anyhow...)

EDIT: Forgot to put a poll choice for other. If you have any other ideas, hit me up!

All Black. Easier to touch up with the rattle can. Looks hardcore.

Yeah, I'm thinking about the line-x or herculiner for the body line down. I'm not sure if it'll stick to the flares/valance or not... anyone else know?

Lol, you have no idea how hard I've been trying to! I can't seem to get my hands on a pair of xlt mirrors.

Whats anyone think of the grill? Color matched surround gonna look too weird?

I'm still worried about if I do the grill black, along with the bumpers, flares, and rockers... it'll be too much...

Line-x is applied hot (150*) Because of this, its really hard to make it stick to plastic. It can be done, but I know they wont gaurantee that it will be permanent. As for the other stuff (rhino liner, herculiner, etc.) that stuff dont even stay on metal forever like line-x. The line-x guy that did my bed has all these samples of competing product, and when you compare side by side to line-x, its obvious which is better.

Im getting my rocker panels line-x'd tomorrow. Cant wait!

Good stuff right there! I'm thinking since my fender flares and valance are already textured, if I paint them it should look alright. How much did you get quoted for the rockers if you don't mind me asking?
