Very nice.

Do you have a body lift?
Is your front hitch welded or bolted in?

No, purely suspension lift. The hitch is bolted on. It's a Hidden Hitch 5014.

I really don't care for body lifts, but it is very tempting. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. If I do decide to put on a body lift I will most likely wait till the tires I have now are gone. Or, till I have a buyer for them since I just bought them. In all honesty I really don't know if I want it any higher though. I like the lower center of gravity I have now, the current gas mileage/power, and not having the added stress of 35’s on the IFS front end. Not to mention, I would have to redo the front and rear hitches.

I don't have install pictures or a how-to. It's self explanatory once you get the mirror. You hook one wire to power and the other to a ground, and run the temperature sensor to the front of the vehicle. I mounted mine right behind the grille on a support.

I bought the mirror new, but I'm sure you could pull one from another vehicle. The mirror is made by Gentex: 2008 Ford Ranger Accessories You can get it cheaper if you look around though. You can also get the mirrors in different configurations and brands.

Thanks! I like the slight rake because I tow a trailer. The rear is 1/2" to 3/4" higher so it's almost level anyway. Picture #7 gives you the best representation of how it actually sits.

Several vehicle manufacturer’s use these brand mirrors - Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, etc.

found the homelink, compass, & temp one on amazon for 260$ free shipping... i know what my truck is getting for a welcome home present! :D

anyone know the difference between the gentex k50a and k51a? the only thing i can find different on the listing is the 50a says upgraded wiring harness, and is an extra $50

the auto dim, compass and temp (without the homelink) is 170 on amazon, free shipping

I researched the different models when I bought mine, but I don't remember what model I bought. Some of the mirrors use different style mounts so that may also be the difference. You would be better off calling them to find out for sure.

the one i was looking at on amazon has the wedge style mount, and the one on the ford site? i think... had the button style, which was to replace the stock mount... i'm going to grab it right now, and if it doesn't work, i'll just hit a parts store and buy a new sticky thing
