F150+Ranger = Sexy time (lots of pics/vids)

LordofWar and I met up today and had some brews. Figured we'd take some pics of our trucks. His is a 2011, 5.0, 2.5 inch hell bent steel leveling kit. 15% tint, flo pro dual exhaust. He is getting some bigger tires soon. Enjoy

My shifter, complete with the factory LvL2 ****

Vids of our exhausts.

Looks good. Those are some really good pictures to show the actual size difference between the 2, and thats a ranger lifted on 33's. It really puts in perspective how much bigger and roomier the F150's really are and really makes you want one lol.

Having upgraded to that F-150, I can tell you that the F-150 is a million times the truck the Rangers was.

I loved my Ranger but the power, size, features, and most importantly the COMFORT is far superior. The Ranger would definately win in the off road cateory as its a great size for Colorado trails.

I def agree. Did you get rid of your ranger? I didnt see it say sold or anything next to it in your sig.

They are just both apples to oranges. The ranger is good at what is was built to do, but thats it.

He traded the Ranger in when he got the Fiddy.

Thanks Melt.

Wyldechild still has the Bronco. He uses the Ranger as his DD.

What part of Denver are you moving to? There are tons of affordable places to live.

I work in downtown so i basically have been branching out from there. Found a place in lakewood about 5 miles away so maybe ill check that out first .... but was loving the spot i found in aurora cause it had a garage, washer dryer, yard, etc .... heard its a crime to be white after dark there though.

Bronco is still around. Doesn't get driven much anymore. It's in need of some repairs...upper and lower ball joints/drag link is the major one. I've just put most of my spending money into the Ranger and into my savings the past year. Bronco will get fixed up this summer.

Thats cool you're moving to Denver. There are parts of Aurora that are actually pretty nice. As you know, there are other parts that are ****. Lakewood is the same way. I would try to look in the Thornton/Northglenn/Westminster area. But there are also shitty parts there LOL. You would have to come and search when you're here, just to get a feel of the areas. Also, when I lived in Golden, the commute to Denver wasn't bad at all. 20 min or so. It was relatively cheap, has a cool, small, downtown life, is right on the edge of the mountains, and thats where Coors brewery is.

It is hard to believe what a size difference there is between an F150 and a ranger... what a difference a few inches make.. (ya what she said)

However I did have an 05 F150 as a loaner for about a week, Ultra roomy... However visibility wise, it sucked.

I think, if I were to 'redo' the whole Ranger purchase, I would go with a GMC 1500. Not quite as big, but still super roomy...

However, those two trucks look like they 'go together'
