Teaser: What's to come

Can't remember, 88 or 89 they start having the roller motors?
EDIT: Just looked it up in the mustang book, was in 85.
What trans do you plan to run with it?
EFI or Carb? If EFI Speed Density or Mass Air?
Also you might want to look at getting a fuel rail from a 302 F-150, works MUCH better than the mustangs. Also helps to have a phenolic spaced if your using the stock intake manifolds, it allows enough clearance for the fuel pressure regulator.

Use 94-95' fuel rails, or Cougar/T-Bird rails for improved flow/capacity.
Keep us updated.

EFI, looking to do a Novi 2000 unit on it aswell. I am considering using the E heads and porting the ever living **** out of them. It will also have a trick flow stage 1 cam and trickflow intake manifold. I dunno what else yet. Definatly EFI. The MAF/SD will depend on how I can tune it. If I can get some good tuning software for my laptop SD if not...MAF.

The mustang fuel rail that came on the 93 fox motor i had, attached the fuel lines to the front passengers side of the motor, in front of the valve covers. Then the fuel lines had to be run around the motor, was kinda a pain, and on my truck ran very close to the headers. With the F-150 fuel rail the lines attached at the back of the motor on the drivers side. When I switched fuel rails it cut out about 10 feet of un-necessary fuel lines. Might have just been the hack job that was my truck, but I knew of 2 other guys on TRS with 302's that did the same thing of swapping fuel rails. Much simpler.

If you can afford it, I would look into a custom cam for your specs and power needs. However this can get quite expensive for a quality job. Crane has some wicked low end torque cams you should check out depending on what you're after.
